Kennedy Restoration, the premier restoration company in the Pacific NW is seeking a dynamic individual to work as a Collections & Accounting Clerk. The Collections Clerk is responsible for tracking past due accounts and contacting customers to resolve payment of outstanding balances.
Required knowledge, skills, and abilities for this position include:
- 3+ years of collections and accounting experience
- Professional and customer service manner
- Outstanding written/verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to perform duties independently
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality
- Must have attention to detail and high degree of accuracy in work
- Highest personal and professional integrity, including the ability to successfully pass a criminal background check and drug test
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Microsoft Office suite
Preferred Skills and knowledge:
- Familiar with Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA)
- Working knowledge of accounting software (Sage)
- This position contributes to other areas in the accounting department.
