ReFIT – Remodeling for Independence Together

Here at Kennedy Restoration, we value the community we live in and give back when we can. We contribute to and are involved in many different local groups that work to make our area a better place to live. One such organization we donate our time and efforts to is ReFIT (Remodeling for Independence Together). As described on their web site “ReFIT, Remodeling for Independence Together, is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping people struggling with illness, injury, disability or the aging process to live independent lives… at home.” This wonderful community resource helps those who have had changes in mobility by remodeling homes to better fit the needs of the home owner.

Dave Hallin (our production manager) volunteers his time to ReFIT by serving on the board of directors. His extensive experience in reconstruction and remodeling is a great resource to the organization. Through his involvement, Kennedy Restoration has assisted in a total of 4 remodels over the past 2 years. While working on these projects, Kennedy Restoration staff members generously donate their time and efforts to complete high quality and essential work. When finished, these homes allow those with mobility issues to continue living in a house that is both safe and comfortable.
