Larry Goldade – General Manager
Larry comes from a family of home builders. His father, grandfather, and uncles were all in the construction and home building industry. Other than a few years while at college and on a church mission, Larry has spent his life in the construction industry starting at 14 when he “legally” began working in the building trades. He has been with Kennedy Restoration since 1984 where he started as an Estimator and has served as it General Manager since 1997.
Larry is a native Oregonian who loves living and working in Oregon with his wife Laura, a Southern Belle from Savannah, Georgia, and their three children. When not at work, you will often find Larry on a golf course, or even at a Broadway play or the Opera.
Tanner Kennedy – Assistant General Manager
Tanner is a Native Oregonian and has worked full time at Kennedy Restoration since 1984. He started his career as a laborer and has worked in every department in the company. He currently handles many of the day to day operations such as safety training and fleet management and when necessary acts as a backup estimator.
Tanner enjoys spending time with his family and fishing for salmon and steelhead in many of our local rivers. He plays lead guitar on his Church worship team and participates in an array of other musical activities.
Barb Casey – Marketing Director
Barb has been the Marketing Director at Kennedy Restoration since October, 2001. She participates in a variety of industry related associations and is currently the Chair of committees for Metro Multifamily Housing Association, Community Associates Institute and Commercial Real Estate Women. She teaches classes on property damage restoration to insurance agents, property managers and other real estate associates. In her spare time, Barb enjoys reading, her volunteer work with the Alpha Phi sorority, the Oregon Ducks and visits with her family.
David Griffin – Controller
David started with Kennedy Restoration in 1986 assisting in the accounting Department. He is now the Accounting and Office Manager responsible for all functions of the accounting department. He also maintain records of all Sales and tracking of job costing per departments and phases of work.
David’s hobbies are camping, playing his Bass Guitar on the music team at church and playing with the grandchildren.
Dave Hallin – Production Manager
David Hallin came to Kennedy Restoration in 2004 with over twenty five years experience in all phases of construction from commercial to residential remodeling and repair. Dave is the Production Manager and directs and oversees all construction projects. As Production Manager, he oversees all the field employees and project managers. His goal is to work with all departments of the company to ensure the best overall finished project for the customer. In his spare time, he likes travel, golf, outdoor activities and spending time with his kids and family.
Matthew Steimle – Sales Manager
Matthew started in the insurance industry as a claims adjuster in 1990. After 11 years of adjusting and then managing claims he came to Kennedy Restoration in 2001. His knowledge of both the insurance and restoration side of your claim will help your restoration process move as seamlessly as possible. Last year he was promoted to Sales Manager and now oversees our five estimators. When not working Matthew enjoys building furniture and vacationing with his family.
Michelle Sunderland – Marketing Representative
Michelle has been with Kennedy Restoration’s marketing department since 2005. Her primary focus is calling on insurance industry professionals, in addition to trade shows, events and organizing promotional products and gift baskets that are personal and unique. Her background is in outside sales and customer service with a strong focus on developing personal relationships.
In her off time she enjoys traveling, playing cards and board games with friends as well as family time with her husband and three college age children.
Scott Evans – Production Coordinator
Scott Evans has been with Kennedy Restoration for 25 years. He brought with him 10 years of construction experience. Scott is experienced in Fire Restoration and trained in Water Restoration and Mold Remediation.
Ed Dobson – Production Coordinator
Ed has been in the construction industry since he was 17. He spent 13 years in the field working as a carpenter and graduated from apprenticeship school with a Journeyman status.
Ed also holds a Bachelorâ€™s degree in Business Administration from an accredited state college in Ohio where he is originally from.
Ed has been working in the casualty restoration field in a management capacity since 1989 when he moved to the Portland, Oregon area, and is certified in Water Damage Restoration, and Applied Microbial Remediation.
He is experienced in estimating and managing large commercial and multi-family fire, water, and storm losses, and residential losses of all types.
Ed and his wife enjoy skiing, backpacking, fitness and world travelling in their off hours.
Russ Fales – Construction Supervisor
Russ has been with Kennedy Restoration for 29 years and brought with him 6 years of Construction experience. Here at Kennedy he is our “Jack of All Trades”. He enjoys snowboarding and camping in his spare time.
Vince Stanick – Estimator
Vince Stanick has been with Kennedy Restoration since 1985. Over the past 26 years Vince has worked on about every type of property damage that can occur. From the water mitigation of the Vernonia School district flood to the smoke mitigation of the governor’s ceremonial office at the State Capital, his experience and expertise in the restoration industry serves as the anchor to the Kennedy team of estimating professionals.
Nathan Hang – Painting Supervisor
<p”>Nathan joined Kennedy Restoration in 1993 as the Supervisor in our Painting Department. He is very knowledgeable in his paint trade as well as his painting skill. His main duty at Kennedy Restoration is to provide the highest quality work to the jobs. He has had many satisfied homeowners.Nathan likes simple things such as short trips to the beach or to the mountains to enjoy the nature.
Cam Hanna â€“ Production Coordinator
Cam has been with Kennedy Restoration since September of 2005 and has brought with him 36 years of construction background ranging from heavy commercial construction to custom finish work. Cam is a former EPA Paint Inspector, Certified Asbestos Supervisor and HQS Housing Inspector. He also brings an extensive background in Antiques and Art a current NCPF, which with all, allows him to be able to assist in all aspects of projects here at Kennedy Restoration.

Nathan Sweet â€“ Estimator
Nathan joined Kennedy Restoration in 2009 and came with a background of hands on experience having ran his own remodeling company in the Seattle area. Nathan worked his way up to lead carpenter and just recently moved up to our estimating department. When he isn’t working, Nathan enjoys spending time with his wife and two small children and coaching T-ball with Rose City little league.
Sean Pilant – Water Technician Supervisor
Sean joined Kennedy Restoration in 2005 and brought with him 8 years of industry related experience. He is currently certified in Water Damage, Mold Remediation, Applied Structural Drying and as a Commercial Drying Specialist. Sean currently manages the Emergency Services Water Division of Kennedy Restoration. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family and volunteering at his children’s sporting events.
Nick was born and raised in the Bay Area in California. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cal Poly. Before coming to Kennedy he had spent 7 years working for a general contractor building city and government buildings. Nick relocated to Portland in 2012 to join the Kennedy Restoration team. In his spare time he enjoys eating from the latest food cart or new restaurant. He burns off the extra calories by exercising with Crossfit and running with his dog.
CaTrine Kennedy â€“ Production Coordinator
CaTrine joined the company in 1999 as a cleaning technician. She has shown great interest in learning all aspects of cleaning and content restoration. Her certifications include Fire and Odor Restoration, Water Technician and Trauma and Crime Scene Clean-up. In her spare time, she enjoys playing Paintball, photography and kite flying.
